I primarily see clients virtually throughout the state of California, but I do offer in-person sessions for those interested at my offices in West Los Angeles and Hermosa Beach.

First, I want to normalize any nerves you might have. My goal in our first session is for you to leave feeling heard and with a clearer sense of what working together would be like.
While everyone's first session is unique, here’s a general idea of what to expect:
We'll start by simply getting to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what brings you in, in whatever way feels comfortable. My focus is on helping your nervous system feel settled so you can begin to sense if this is a space where you can be yourself.
We’ll talk about what's happening now and look at relevant parts of your history, not as a checklist, but to understand the context of your life. This includes how experiences like managing health conditions, anxiety, or past trauma have shaped your journey.
Therapy with me isn't just talking. Depending on what feels right, I may gently guide you in a brief mindfulness exercise or help you tune into a body sensation. This gives you a direct, small taste of the somatic and experiential parts of my approach (like how we might use Brainspotting or parts work in future sessions).
We’ll discuss your hopes for therapy and start to outline initial goals. I’ll share my thoughts on how we might work together using approaches that fit you.
By the end, you should have a feel for my style and we’ll both have a sense of whether we’re a good fit to continue the work. There is no pressure to have it all figured out.

My fees are $225 per 50-minute session (if I am out-of-network with your insurance or you are using private pay) and $50 per support group.

I currently am in-network with Aetna, Blue Shield of California, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health of California. For all other insurances, I am out-of-network and am able to provide you with a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Under the federal No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are required to provide clients who are not utilizing insurance with an estimate of the anticipated costs for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You are entitled to request a Good Faith Estimate for the complete expected expenses of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy, either before scheduling a service or at any point during your treatment. If you receive a bill that exceeds your Good Faith Estimate by at least $400, you have the option to contest the bill. It's important to retain a copy or a photo of your Good Faith Estimate.
