About Jenna Tso, LCSW

Your strength got you here. Let's build a life that sustains you.

Having navigated life with anaphylactic allergies from birth, I intimately "get" the emotional world of chronic health. My mission is to offer teens, adults, and parents a therapeutic space where you never have to explain your reality but truly feel less alone and supported.

I am a Los Angeles-based therapist offering sessions in person in West Los Angeles and Hermosa Beach in addition to virtual sessions across the state of California. I also host monthly drop-in peer support groups for adults with food allergies, parents of children with food allergies, and teens with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) that are open to folks in all 50 states.

please Hear me when I say:

Your vigilance has served a purpose. Choosing to heal is not a sign it failed, but that you're ready to live beyond survival.

I want you to know that we won't treat your anxiety as the enemy. It's an adaptive part of you that learned to shout for a reason. We'll listen to its fears with compassion, so you can feel safe without being overwhelmed. I'm here with you.

How I work

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that healing is the process of integrating every part of your story—mind, body, diagnosis, intuition—into a safe, whole, and empowered sense of self.

Our space is client-centered and intuitive. I blend modalities to fit you, not the other way around. With a mix of grounded support and a holistic view of your strengths, I'll meet you where you are and walk with you (sometimes with a gentle push) toward your healing.

In sessions with me, we will build a trusting, secure connection. From that foundation, we’ll use a blend of psychodynamic exploration, attachment-focused healing, Brainspotting for trauma stored in the body, and parts work to heal the layers of your experience, while using practical CBT tools to soften rigid thought patterns in the present.

Therapy with me is…

  • I tailor every approach to you, meeting you where you are, and I welcome your feedback to ensure our work feels collaborative and right for you.

  • The foundation of my work is a real, human relationship. I believe that when we connect as our true selves with compassion, honesty, and sometimes humor, that it can be the most powerful agent of change.

  • You can expect me to be grounded and real. I'll offer compassionate directness and know the difference between a necessary nudge and a time to simply be with you.

  • My approach is holistic and inclusive of all parts of you. For those who are open, I can gently incorporate intuitive tools like astrology or tarot as mirrors for insight, but I will never push a spiritual framework onto you.
