when your body feels like a full-time job…

Therapy for folks with chronic health conditions in CA

Close-up of white fabric with soft texture and gentle folds.

You’ve tried everything you can think of to feel better, but nothing’s sticking.

Maybe previous therapy helped in other ways, but it didn't fully grasp the relentless reality of your health. It couldn't speak the language of medical trauma, chronic grief, or the identity shift that comes with a body that demands constant negotiation.

This is where our work begins differently. Here, your condition isn't a footnote, but the central context for your healing.

But you’re still feeling like…

You are constantly negotiating with pain, fatigue, and symptoms just to get through the day.

Your identity has been swallowed by the role of "patient" or "self-manager."

You have to minimize your struggle to protect others from discomfort, leaving you isolated.

What we’ll work on

We will create a sanctuary where your illness is not the focus, but the context for your healing. Our work is integrative, honoring the deep connection between your mind and body.

Process the Trauma & Grief: Using Brainspotting, we'll gently address the nervous system dysregulation and stored trauma from medical experiences and the shock of diagnosis, creating space for mourning and integration.

Rebuild a Compassionate Relationship with Your Body: Through parts work (IFS) and mindfulness, we'll foster dialogue between you and your body, moving from criticism to curiosity, from battle to nuanced communication.

Reclaim Your Identity & Agency: We'll use psychodynamic exploration and narrative therapy to separate "you" from your illness, helping you rediscover your values, strengths, and identity beyond the diagnosis.

Build a Sustainable Life Within Your Energy: We'll develop practical CBT and pacing skills to help you plan, set authentic boundaries, and make intentional choices that honor your fluctuating capacity, reducing burnout.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

Your illness is a part of your story, but it is not your entire identity. My role is to help you build a life that feels nourishing and authentic within the parameters of your health. You don't have to navigate this alone.

It’s your turn to be supported.
